TEACHING & TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES

We train medical students

Assuring high-quality general practice medicine in Switzerland is an issue that’s especially close to our hearts. In addition to obtaining the theoretical basics at the university, the foundation is learning practical skills, training a clinical perspective, and developing sympathy with the patients among medical students. The Sternmatt Practice is also active as an Academic Teaching Practice for General Practice Medicine at the University of Bern.

We train medical practice assistants

Medical practice assistants (MPAs) with excellent qualifications are an essential to the smooth operation of our practice and optimal patient care. We therefore feel responsible for supporting young talent and are a teaching and training practice for MPAs as recognized by the canton.

Being good means always improving

The physician and his practice team view this motto as central to their activities. This means ongoing medical further education and training both at the practice and by attending conferences, courses, internships and regularly reviewing the scientific literature.
