The Sternmatt Practice is a solo general practitioner practice. My name is Benjamin C. Wronn. I will always be personally attending to the medical needs of my patients. That means that you’ll always have one point of contact. One person who takes responsibility: Your primary care physician. This is my promise to you!
General practice medicine
The doctor as adviser, coach and contact for overcoming the patient’s health problems. The focus is on you as a person. Attentive listening and appreciation, as well as taking the patient’s subjective symptoms seriously are the foundation of a trusting patient-physician relationship, and often enough start the diagnostics off on the right track.
Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
At the Sternmatt Practice we offer modern integrative medicine. Its foundation is the realization that both the classic form of academic medicine and complementary medicine reach their limits in certain situations. To help patients it’s frequently necessary to draw on the best from the repertoire of both of these concepts of medicine – often in combination. One-sided dogmatism that insists on one medicine being superior to the other neither helps patients, nor is it scientifically justified.
Aviation Medicine
The Sternmatt Practice offers periodic flight fitness examinations (Medicals) in accordance with the guidelines issued by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). We are accredited for medical examinations in classes I, II and LAPL, as well as for flight attendants and air traffic controllers by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). In addition, we perform flight fitness examinations for participants in research-related parabolic flights. The physician Benjamin C. Wronn has also been designated as an external physician of confidence for pilots by SWISS.
